How to Deposit Crypto from Wallet to HashKey Exchange

Depositing cryptocurrency to your wallet on a crypto exchange like HashKey Exchange is straightforward but requires attention to detail to ensure everything goes smoothly. Whether you're transferring funds for trading or long-term holding, this guide will walk you through each step.

Step 1: Log Into Your Account

  • After logging into your HashKey Exchange account, navigate to "Deposit" menu and select "Digital Currency Deposit".

  • At the "Deposit" page, "Select Asset" you want to deposit and the corresponding "Asset Network". Also, at the "Address source" tick "Personal Wallet".

If you choose "New Address Deposit" as the deposit method, you need to add your personal address in the Deposit Whitelist through "Specify Deposit Amount",

Fill in the deposit amount and click "Confirm";

Please Note:

  1. The "Deposit Amount" must be equal to or greater than the "Minimum Deposit Amount."
  2. The "Deposit Amount" refers to the amount you intend to deposit. Once you enter the "Deposit Amount," a "Specified Deposit Amount" will be generated, which is the exact amount you need to deposit. Therefore, do not deposit the "Deposit Amount" directly; instead, ensure you deposit the "Specified Deposit Amount" to allow your address to be whitelisted.
  3. The "Specified Deposit Amount" applies only to the "Small Deposit Verification" process for whitelisting addresses.
  4. Please note that the "Minimum Deposit Amount" varies for each virtual asset depending on the blockchain, and it may be adjusted dynamically based on blockchain conditions.
  5. All figures related to the "Deposit Amount" and "Minimum Deposit Amount" shown in the screenshots are for reference purposes only.

The system will automatically calculate a specific verification amount, and you need to "Confirm" the deposit amount on the Pop-up page.

Click "Copy" or scan the QR code with your personal wallet App on the page to obtain the deposit target address for subsequent deposit and transfer operations. Note that the deposit amount must be strictly in accordance with the amount specified in the interface;

If the deposit method selects "Whitelist Address Deposit", that is, your deposit source address is already in the deposit whitelist, click "Copy" or scan the QR code on the page to obtain the deposit target address for subsequent deposit transfers. Note that the deposit amount ≥ the minimum deposit amount.

Step 5:

Once the deposit transfer is completed, your deposit record will appear in the [Recent Deposit Records] section at the bottom of the deposit page. Alternatively, you can click "View All" to navigate to "Custody Account" → "Account Records" for a detailed view.

Step 6:

The steps outlined above describe the standard "Small Payment Authentication" deposit process for personal wallets.If you bypass whitelist authentication and do not use the "Small Payment Authentication" process, your personal wallet deposit will not be automatically credited and will remain in a "pending address verification" state. You can view and verify the deposit by navigating to "Custody Account" → "Account Record".In addition to the "Small Payment Authentication" method, you may also choose the "Signature Verification" method for authentication. If you're unsure how to perform "Signature Verification", it is recommended that you directly inquire about customer service of your wallet provider.
