Notes on Bank Account Selection

To ensure secure and smooth transactions, HashKey Exchange does not support the following types of bank accounts:

1. Hong Kong Banks on Sanctions List: Any banks banned in Hong Kong are not supported by HashKey Exchange.
2. Chinese mainland bank account: Bank accounts originating in Chinese mainland are not supported.
3. Non-General account: Please ensure that your bank account is a universal account to meet the service requirements of HashKey Exchange.
4. Non-fully owned account: Customers must have 100% full ownership of the account, otherwise they will not be able to use HashKey Exchange's services.
5. Accounts with Inconsistent Names: The name of the bank account holder must be exactly the same as the name you registered on the HashKey Exchange.
6. Restricted accounts: Any account that restricts transfers in and out is not supported by HashKey Exchange.
7. Bank credit card account: HashKey Exchange does not support transactions using bank credit card accounts.

Guidelines for Legal Currency Recharge

For fiat recharge, HashKey Exchange provides you with the following detailed instructions:

1. Allowlist account: We only support customers to withdraw legal tender to bank accounts that have already joined the allowlist. These accounts are the same as the bank accounts you use to complete the first recharge of more than HKD 10,000.
2. Supported currencies: Currently, HashKey Exchange only supports withdrawal services in Hong Kong dollars and US dollars.
3. Processing time: HashKey Exchange accepts withdrawal requests 24/7, but the withdrawal arrival time depends on the comprehensive processing time of our bank and the customer's bank. The specific processing time is as follows:For Hong Kong dollars withdrawn to Hong Kong banks, most withdrawals can be processed within seconds (7 * 24H) if the amount is less than 1,000,000 HKD.For Hong Kong dollars withdrawn to Hong Kong banks, most withdrawals are processed within seconds (during Hong Kong bank business hours) if the amount is greater than or equal to 1,000,000 HKD.For any amount of US dollars withdrawn to Hong Kong banks, most can be processed within 1 to 3 hours (during Hong Kong bank business hours).For any amount of US dollars withdrawn to overseas banks (outside Hong Kong), most can be processed within 1-2 working days.

Please note that the business hours of banks in Hong Kong are from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Hong Kong time) from Monday to Friday, except for public holidays.

Warm reminder

To ensure that your fiat currency withdrawal order is successful, HashKey Exchange recommends that you verify the following information with your bank:

1. Is your bank account a general account?
2. Is your account unrestricted for fund transfers and transfers?
3. Is there no special restriction or constraint on your account?

In addition, some banks in Hong Kong allow direct transfers from savings accounts (such as time deposit accounts) to other accounts, but savings accounts do not necessarily support external transfers. Therefore, please be sure to confirm whether your bank has such restrictions, otherwise your legal currency withdrawal order may not be successful.
